A really yummy variation on the meatballs is to add chopped dried apricot (unsweetened) and chopped black olives. Together they give a slight middle eastern flavour and the salty sweet combo is so good. Pair with hummus and chopped veggies in a pita.

Shout out for Fresh Peaches! I must have first heard of it here from you Jess, and have been using it for over a year now at least. We have it in every bathroom, and I always make sure we have extra and don’t run out. I also carry it in my purse. It’s an honest life saver for the dryness that goes with peri-menopause. Clearly, I should be a spokesperson, haha. On another note, sincere thanks to the whole EHD team for keeping it light and always interesting, yet still acknowledging what’s happening in the nation. I so appreciate how you address issues yet are still there for the primary purpose of design and what I consider, fun stuff.

In reply to Lia. Your comment could be me! I do all of these things ha ha. Mine is a teen now and still takes a little portioned metal container with cut up fruit and veg but "it's cool" because they call it girl dinner.

In reply to B. My 9 year olds (and 5yo) love roasted broccolini. I think you should try again! They are also sometimes into roasted Brussels sprouts if they are really hungry.

In reply to Ash. In Australia, going after criminals , child molesters etc is a job for the police and they have to collect evidence, put together a case and go through a court process, with a jury. If someone has entered the country illegally or overstayed a visa, and they are caught, they are deported, unless they have committed a crime in which case they are handed over to the police for prosecution as per the above. I don’t believe either of these functions requires a gestapo style, door to door round up and certainly does not include tolerance of violent or brutal behaviour.
