Okay, I am going to give my straight up feelings about this room, even though I see I am in a boat by myself. I do like the room and I really like the plaid blanket and green dresser, as well as the night stands. But there is something lacking here. It’s maybe too perfect or no risks were taken and it would be nice to see something out of the ordinary in your new home. Sorry, I do like your style, generally, and I love the high/low mix, the fact that I can find your stuff at Target, and even afford some of it, but do all the rooms have to be white with one pop of green, mostly blues, and accessories and paintings i could pick out for you at this point? I guess I had a higher expectation. I do love Charlie’s room and the outdoor space, but I expected a bigger wow when you originally posted your new house, I admit. More of a change. (It isn’t just you, a lot of stylists who have a big following start going formulaic with their own look. Hard to know how one remains true to one’s decorating roots, while also making things interesting.)
